Studio Policy For Katy Rose Enhancement
By booking an appointment with Katy Rose, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following policies.
1. Booking & Appointments
• All appointments must be booked in advance via [online booking / phone / email].
• A non-refundable booking deposit may be required to secure your appointment. This deposit is deducted from the total service cost.
• Please arrive on time. Arriving early may disrupt the previous client.
• Clients arriving more than 10–15 minutes late may have their appointment shortened or rescheduled, and the deposit may be forfeited.
• We recommend booking future appointments before leaving the studio to secure preferred dates and times.
2. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows
• A minimum of 24–48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule (SPMU services require 48 hours’ notice).
• Cancellations or reschedules made outside the notice period may result in loss of deposit or a 50% service charge.
• No-shows or same-day cancellations will be charged 100% of the service cost and may require prepayment for future bookings.
• Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.
3. Consultations, Medical Disclosure & Patch Tests
• A consultation is mandatory for all semi-permanent makeup services and may be required prior to booking.
• Patch tests are mandatory for SPMU services and strongly recommended for lash and brow tinting or chemical treatments. Patch tests must be completed 24–48 hours prior to treatment.
• Clients must disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, pregnancy, skin conditions, or recent cosmetic procedures.
• Failure to disclose medical information releases the studio from liability.
• The artist reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a service if it is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.
4. Hygiene, Health & Safety
• All tools are sterilized, disinfected, or single-use, in accordance with local health regulations.
• PPE (gloves, masks where required) is used for all applicable procedures.
• Clean towels, applicators, and disposables are used for each client.
• Clients presenting with contagious conditions, infections, or open wounds may be refused service.
5. Services & Aftercare
Lash Extensions
• Avoid water, steam, sweating, and makeup for 24–48 hours post-treatment.
• Use oil-free products only.
• Do not rub, pull, or pick lashes.
• Lash fills are recommended every 2–3 weeks for best results.
Brow Services (Tinting, Lamination, Shaping)
• Avoid exfoliation, retinol, acids, or chemical treatments near the brow area 7 days before and after treatment.
• Results and longevity vary based on skin type and aftercare.
Semi-Permanent Makeup (Microblading, Lip Blush, Eyeliner, etc.)
• Results vary and may require 1–2 touch-up sessions for optimal outcome (not always included unless stated).
• Initial swelling, redness, scabbing, and color changes are normal during healing.
• Final healed results may take 6–8 weeks.
• Strict adherence to aftercare instructions is essential. Failure to follow aftercare voids any touch-up guarantees.
6. Payment
• Full payment is required on the day of service via [cash / card / digital payments].
• Prices are subject to change and are confirmed at the time of booking.
• Packages, memberships, and gift cards are non-refundable and must be redeemed within their validity period.
7. Refunds, Corrections & Satisfaction
• Due to the nature of beauty and cosmetic tattoo services, all services are non-refundable.
• Concerns must be reported within 48 hours of the appointment.
• Where appropriate, a complimentary adjustment may be offered at the artist’s discretion.
• Dissatisfaction based on personal preference, healed results, or lifestyle factors does not qualify for refunds.
8. Photography, Media & Marketing
• Photos and videos may be taken for portfolio, website, and social media use with client consent.
• Clients may opt out of photography by notifying the artist prior to the appointment.
• All images remain the property of the studio.
9. Client Conduct
• Respectful behaviour toward staff and other clients is required.
• Abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate service termination without refund.
• Children, additional guests, and pets are not permitted unless pre-approved.
10. Liability & Consent
• By proceeding with any treatment, clients acknowledge and accept the inherent risks, including allergic reactions, pigment retention issues, or uneven results.
• The studio is not responsible for reactions caused by undisclosed medical conditions, previous cosmetic work, or failure to follow aftercare instructions.
