You will need to refrain on getting them wet for 24 hours after the application.
For piece of mind you can always purchase the correct after care products. I have all the after care products you could need that are all designed to work with the eyelash extensions and help promote longevity. I give a full complimentary kit with every customer on their first visit with me and you can also purchase the entire kit or separately thereafter.
My aftercare kits included:
Oil free lash cleaner, a lash foaming brush, Lash comb and protection lash nighttime eye pads.
It is recommended is to avoid any kind of oil. This can be found in most cosmetics and beauty products under different names and can be misleading at times.
It is best to avoid using any cotton wool or cotton wool buds, face wipes and towels over or near the extensions.
To maximize the longevity of your eyelash extensions, try to avoid sleeping directly on them, rubbing, picking or pulling at them, as this can cause them to shed prematurely. Refraining from this can also help improve the quality of the delicate skin in your eye area.
DO THEY LOOK REAL?
I specialise in making eyelash extensions look real. I work very closely with the safety of my clients natural lashes. However the final look is down to you. Every set of eyelash extensions is bespoke and unique to each client. However they can look as real or as false as you would like them to, whilst ensuring your natural lashes remain safe at all times.
HOW LONG WILL MY EYELASHES EXTENSIONS LASH?
With the correct aftercare and dependent upon personal lash growth, eyelash extensions can look good for up to 3-6 weeks, You will require an infill to maintain them every 2-3 weeks without needing a full set again. If the eyelash extensions have been applied for a one off special occasion, sometimes they can stay attached to the natural lashes for up to 10 weeks. However they may not be as full as when they were first applied.
CAN I WEAR MASCARA?
Technically you can, however one of the main reasons people have eyelash extensions is to remove the need to wear mascara, which can in turn can reduce your desire to wear other eye make up. If you still wish to wear mascara with your extensions, it must be an oil free mascara.
IT IS SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH SENSITIVE EYES AND SKIN?
If you have any major concerns it is always best to book yourself in for a free patch test. All the equipment is sterilised thoroughly, before and after every treatment, so no cross contamination can occur either.
HOW LONG DOES THE APPOINTMENT TAKE?
A full set can take between 1.5 hours and 3 hours depending on what you require and how many lashes the client naturally has.
These times allow for a consultation and a full cleanse of the eye area.
An infill appointment is 75 minutes. This includes cleansing and application time.
